Located just north of the City of Brampton, Caledon is a town in Peel Regional Municipality approximately 700 sq metres in size, with an estimated 2004 population of approximately 55,000 residents. In terms of land use, Caledon is somewhat urban, though it is primarily rural in nature. It consists of an amalgamation of a number of urban areas, villages, and hamlets, with the major urban centre being Bolton. You will find Brampton to the south, Region of York to the east, Counties of Dufferin and Simcoe to the north and the County of Wellington and Region of Halton to the west.
