On the 2nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me... A delicious roasted turkeyyyy, with home made gravyyyy...From Howard the Butcher’s.
Howard the butcher’s has been a local favourite since 1997 and is one of those stores where you walk in and you automatically feel like family.
This quaint store with welcoming faces every time you step in those doors features all Ontario sourced meat products, cheeses, home made soups, Home made Shepard pies, pot pies, potato salads, locally grown veggies (when in season of course), oils, sauces, pasta, delicious desserts including Dufflet cakes, jams, pickled goods, gifts, soaps and creams.... just to name a few.
They also carry a variety of gluten free and vegan products, teas, and an arrangement of International foods. You won’t find any Heinz ketchup here but I promise with the range of high quality products the store carries, the one you find will be better!
Local owners, husband and wife, Howard Beckett and Ann Dunbar along with their kind and helpful employees are the definition of quality customer service.
Howard the butcher is not just any small town butcher shop, its also a life saver when you have had a long day at work and need a home cooked meal to feed your family fast. Since 2000, The store now has a full kitchen where delicious meals and home baked goods are made daily and it also expanded the business to offer catering.
We can taste the love every time we get a meal there and can attest they have the best steak sandwiches in town!
When a passion and a purpose come together... and a lot of hard work... it’s bound to be successful.
Not often do you come across a business that operate 364 days a year... forgot to buy something on a long weekend? Thanksgiving? Easter? You can bet they’re open! You’re welcome!
So if you haven’t ordered your Christmas turkey yet, or some delicious glazed ham, go visit Howard the Butcher at 15980 Airport Road in Caledon East.
